"OLD BHS" BACKSTAGE PHOTOS

For over 30 years students have been signed the walls backstage in the BHS theater. It’s hard to say when this started as a formal tradition but the walls of the "old" BHS building had show titles dating as far back as the 1980s. There were words of inspiration, encouragement, gratitude and love, as well as inside jokes, advice and notes that faded or were covered over by equipment.
We are grateful to be working in the beautiful new building that opened in 2021, but what’s clear from these notes is that the time spent in this space- the laughs, tears, frustrations, applause, mistakes, problems solved, friendships formed- all made a huge impact on generations of BHS students. A building is just a place, but what happened in there is something truly special. We’re looking forward to making new memories, creating new traditions and making our new building a home. |
