PARENT & COMMUNITY PARTNER INFO
The Performing Arts Company is almost entirely self-sustaining. Most of our staff salaries are paid by the Belmont Public Schools (through Activity Fees), but all of our production expenses (scenery, lighting, costumes, props, sound, production royalties, printing, and additional staff stipends) are paid for through ticket sales and fundraising. We are grateful for the support of PATRONS, our advertisers/sponsors and everyone who buys a ticket to see a show.

ABOUT PATRONS
PATRONS (Parents of Performing Arts Students) is the volunteer parent group that helps to fund and support the PAC. Without PATRONS the current theater program at Belmont High School would not be possible. Through volunteer and fundraising efforts, PATRONS helps support all of the PAC Shows and Activities including providing assistance with:
- Props, Costumes, Technical Support Staff, Lighting & Sound Equipment and more for the Fall Play and Winter Musical.
- Meals for actors and crew during productions.
- Workshops, Master Classes and special educational opportunities for PAC Students.
- Director's Chairs for Graduating Seniors and and and end-of-the-year banquet for all students.
- Two annual scholarships for graduating seniors.
SUPPORT PATRONSThe majority of Patrons funding comes from membership. Although a donation is not required to be a Patrons member, we hope that every PAC family will consider making their membership official by supporting Patrons. There is no set fee: any amount makes a difference.

PATRONS MEETINGSPatrons meetings are held approximately once every other month throughout the year. Any parent with a student in the PAC is invited to attend. Email Patrons Chairs if you are interested in more information about attending 2023-24 meetings.
All meetings take place at BHS in the Performing Arts Wing (1st Floor B Wing) |
ACTIVITY FEE
Students who participate in the PAC must pay the Visual and Performing Arts Activity Fee. This is a school fee, which pays some staff stipends for extracurricular-activities in music & theater. While the money does not go directly to the budget for our theatrical productions (hence the need for ticket sales and fundraising) the fee is an essential part of staffing and sustaining our programs.
Information and fee payment can be found on the Visual and Performing Arts Website.
