Info for Parents & Community Partners
General Info
The Performing Arts Company is a unique extracurricular activity at Belmont High School, which relies on the support of parents in many ways. Sure, we count on parents for rides to and from school for rehearsal, to help practice lines and to cheer us on at performances. We also rely on parents to keep the program thriving. Ticket sales for PAC shows pay only part of the cost of mounting our productions. The Fine & Performing Arts Activity Fee for students who participate in extracurricular theater and music programs also helps our shows run, and we rely on donations and advertising to fill in the rest.
PATRONS
Patrons is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to supporting the Performing Arts Company through volunteer work and fundraising. Patrons staffs the front of house for all PAC shows, runs special events including fundraisers and an end-of-the-year banquet for all PAC members; scholarships for graduating seniors; funding for individual production needs including additional staff, specific technical needs, equipment, etc.
All parents who have a student involved in a PAC show are members of Patrons, but you can make your membership official by clicking the link below and joining/donating. Membership at ANY donation level is greatly appreciated!
